Petra File Cipher V3.2, an unstructured data encryption solution of EXEM subsidiary and database security company SINSIWAY (CEO Jung Jae-hoon), announced on the 7th that it has obtained the first grade, the highest GS certification, from the Korea Information and Communication Technology Association (TTA).
GS (Good Software) certification is a system that certifies the quality of software in accordance with the Software Industry Promotion Act and the Ministry of Science and ICT's notice to secure the quality of software products and support the market for software development companies.
The Petra File Cypher supports unstructured file encryption through an agent and API method. Real-time encryption is supported with an agent installed in the server for images, log files, and recording files, and encryption is possible through specific areas and pattern information of files with a certain format such as SAM (Sequential Access Method) files and CSV files.
The agent method based on scheduling not only encrypts files in real time, but also minimizes API modifications in programs, enabling efficient encryption management. The API method ensures the security and stability of applications and batch programs by installing encryption and decryption libraries on application servers and minimizing performance load.
SINSIWAY has been verified for its technology and reliability by supplying unstructured file encryption to major domestic financial and public institutions such as NH Nonghyup Bank, Nonghyup Central Association, Woori Bank, Woori Card, IBK Industrial Bank, and Employment Information Service.
"By acquiring the first grade of GS certification, Petra File Cypher's technology, security, and excellence have been recognized once again," said Yoo Kyung-seok, executive director of the business division of Shin Si-wei.
