Lee Woo-young, chairman of the Korea Human Resources Corporation, holds a meeting for 'communication of corporate sites' at Sinsiway

■ Establish a mutual cooperation system by listening to on-site difficulties and discussing business advancement

Sinsiway, a data security company, announced on the 15th that it held a meeting with Lee Woo-young, chairman of the Korea Human Resources Corporation, at its headquarters in Munjeong-dong, Sinsiway, on the 12th.

The competency development specialist is a vocational competency development training support project first introduced by the Korea Human Resources Corporation in 2023, and HRD experts will provide a total of seven consulting services, including corporate diagnosis, training process development, and competency development by consulting corporate customized training capabilities for small and medium-sized companies that have difficulty developing vocational competencies.

The meeting, which was held for the first time by small and medium-sized companies in Gangnam, Seoul, was attended by 12 people, including Lee Woo-young, chairman of the Korea Human Resources Corporation, Kwon Sang-won, head of the vocational competency bureau, Lim Jong-jin, head of Gangnam branch in Seoul, Yu Kyung Suk, CEO of Sinsiway, and Kim Jae-hyun, vice president, mainly discussed ways to upgrade business for small and medium-sized companies, including introducing companies and listening to on-site difficulties and collecting opinions, including reporting on the progress of the business.

The competency development doctor's project is promoting various promotions such as newsletters, job fairs, subways, related organizations, and outdoor advertisements, but the participation rate of SMEs is only 4.5%, which is an important step to discover excellent SMEs through active cooperation with HR leader companies. There are currently about 235 people in charge of competency development at the Korea Human Resources Development Service, and the final goal is to increase the participation rate of SMEs to the middle level of the OECD goal.

To secure excellent human resources and foster human resources, Sinsiway has established a talent training team in 2022, encourages an autonomous learning culture linked to the performance system to strengthen the work capabilities of executives and employees, and is participating in training projects to develop business owners' vocational skills, such as the subscription training project (HRD-Flex) and the self-training flexible operation system (HRD-Pass), which provides systematic and professional learning by designing learning programs necessary for strengthening practical capabilities anytime, anywhere.

In addition to the employer training, Sinsiway participated in the work-study parallel system single company type, systematic field training project (S-OJT), learning organization project, NCS corporate utilization consulting project, and corporate demand customized SaaS conversion technology education project, and acquired Best-HRD (Best-HRD) in the SME sector in 2023.

"Most SMEs have difficulty starting their businesses due to the somewhat difficult business concepts and contents due to the absence of HRD experts," said Jwa Sung-hoon, head of Sinsiway's talent education team, explaining the difficulties faced by SMEs. "It will be an effective way to increase the interest of SMEs by simplifying technical terms and explanations," he added.

"We are making a lot of efforts with high interest in management and education to strengthen human resource capabilities, but there are many difficulties in the reality we are facing," said CEO Yu Kyung suk of Sinsiway. "With this meeting, all executives and employees will do their best to strengthen their systematic capabilities and also put customer satisfaction management practices through human resource development as a top priority."
